Honourable Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh Agricultural University Prof. Dr. Lutful Hassan visited ongoing research activities at the experimental farm of the Department of Genetics and Plant Breeding. He closely monitored research projects related BAU Dhan-3, BAU Sarisha-1, BAU Sarisha-2, BAU Sarisha-3, Alternaria blight resistance and short duration variety development projects related to rapeseed and mustard and sweet potato project funded by the International Potato Center. As a veteran plant breeder of Bangladesh, he advised a number of points to investigators of the respective research projects. Prof Dr Arif Hasan Khan Robin, Associate Prof Jobadantun Naher, research students, farm superintendent and field assistants were present during his visit.
