Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU)

Task and responsibilities of Dean Council:

1. BAU Dean Council, composed of all the deans of six faculties, dean of postgraduate studies (CASR Coordinator) & Student's Affairs Adviser, is the highest academic policy body to guide the University for Academic Policies, programs, introduction, etc. of undergraduate and graduate programs.
2. The Dean council makes and reviews policy guidelines in order to produce more creative, motivated and field-oriented agriculture graduates so that they can counter the challenges of changing country's as well as global needs and ensure food and nutrition security and achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs)
3. The council further guides, delegates and monitors different BAU faculties, departments, institutes and centres to develop technologies and publish innovations, research articles, policy briefs, policy guidelines relating to SDGs.
