Working as a Co- Principal Investigator in the Project Implemented by Interdisciplinary Institute for Food Security (IIFS), BAU and financed by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) titled  “Linkages between Women’s Empowerment, Children’s Diet and Nutrition under Rapid Urbanization in Bangladesh”

Worked as the Principal Investigator in the IRRI implemented and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded project titled “STRASA Phase 2- Tracking Varietal Uptake and Assessment of STVS” during 2011-12.

Worked as a Research Assistant in the FAO implemented and National Food Policy Capacity Strengthening Programme (NFPCSP) financed, project titled “Effectiveness of Bangladesh`s Rice Procurement System and Possible Alternatives Supporting Farmers` Income and Sustaining Production Incentives” during 2012-13.

Conducted Masters Dissertation research titled “Impact of the Global Food Price on Developing Countries: A Cross Country Econometric Study with a Review of Micro Level Effects” for an MA in Development Economics at the School of International Development, University of East Anglia, UK.

Conducted Masters research titled “An Economic Evaluation of Public Food Operations in Bangladesh with Special Emphasis on Government Paddy and Rice Procurement Programmes” for an MS in Agricultural Economics (Production Economics) at Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mymensingh, Bangladesh.

Worked as a Senior Research Associate at the Research and Evaluation Division (RED) of BRAC, Mohakhali, Dhaka, Bangladesh, during December 2011.

Worked as an Enumerator, Data Analyst and Report Writer for the IRRI implemented and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation funded project for the development of Stress Tolerant Rice for Africa and South Asia (STRASA) during 2009-10.
